The goal of Tabernacle Baptist Church's children's ministry is to assist parents in developing the mind of Christ in the lives of their children and to help prepare them for all that God has called them to do. Children of all ages in the Hickory area are being reached with the Gospel through the ministries of Tabernacle Baptist Church.

This ministry for those aged 50 and older provides fellowship and ministry opportunities. Our new leaders, Mr. & Mrs. Doug and Irene DeLand look forward to planning and organizing the many activities and exciting overnight and day trips to fun, out of the way places.  This group enjoys monthly luncheons and dinners where the food and fellowship are always a blessing. You can find your place with the Young at Heart at Tabernacle Baptist Church.

Spanish-Speaking

"There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification." ~ 1 Cor 14:10

An increasing number of Spanish-speaking people are moving into our community looking for a better way of life, but their greatest need is to receive the “abundant life” that only Jesus Christ can give them. At Tabernacle Baptist Church, we seek to minister to our Spanish-speaking neighbors through Spanish-speaking services and Bible studies, interpreters, Spanish literature, and soul-winning work.

Our mission is to obey the command of the Lord Jesus Christ to take the gospel to the uttermost parts of the earth. Every member of the church has the responsibility to be a part of world evangelism through prayer, giving, and going. Jesus Christ has commanded that we pray the Lord of the harvest, that He would send forth laborers into His harvest.

Our Wonderfully Made ministry is focused on ministering to individuals and families impacted by various special needs. We serve individuals of all ages in a sensory friendly environment during the 11 o’clock worship service and offer monthly mother's meetings.
